Career Opportunity
The Academy at the PARC is seeking an experienced and innovative leader to direct our Early Childhood Program. The position is available for the 2024–2025 school year, with the contract beginning in June 2024. Our Early Childhood program welcomes new families into the embrace of the Academy community, holding their classes with warmth, rhythm, and a reverence. We hold a deep value of connecting children to the land and spend much of the day outdoors in our varied early childhood play areas including 40 acres of forested trails, gardens and our farm.
The Academy provides a nurturing, play-based, developmentally attuned environment for our youngest students. Our activities include extensive time spent in nature, a focus on practical work, rich storytelling, creative and artistic experiences, movement and most importantly, self-directed play. Discover the warmth, joy and magic of the children’s experience at the Academy. We strive for continuity between home and school through an admissions process that ensures alignment, parent education and engagement.
