Animal Hospital of Sebastopol has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding team!

This is a flexible full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.

Primary skills/responsibilities:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Gentle handling and restraint
• Venipuncture and placing IV catheters
• Administering medications and injections
• Anesthetic monitoring and surgical assistance
• Outpatient procedures
• Pharmacy and laboratory duties
• General hospital cleaning
• General boarding and kennel duties

Full-time benefits:

• Compensation: $22 - $25/hour (based on experience)
