HealthCare Support Staffing is Hiring a Surgical Tech Near Seattle, WA
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Surgical Tech to fill an opening with a managed care company in Everett, WA.
Daily Responsibilities for Surgical Tech:
- Serves in the scrub role during assigned procedures.
- Places equipment and supplies in operating room and arranges instruments, according to instruction.
- Maintains supply of fluids and medications labeled and ready for use during operation.
- Hands instruments and supplies to surgeon, holds retractors, and performs other tasks as directed by surgeon during operation within scope of practice.
- Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and facilitates the progress of the surgical procedure.
- Effectively coordinates equipment, supplies and instrumentation according to surgeon’s preference cards. Collaborates with members of the surgical team in the updating and maintenance of preference cards.
- 6:45-5:15 with up to 5-6 late days/month. The late days are if procedures are going past 5pm
- Graduate from a school of surgical technology
- Must have ortho experience in arthroscopic cases, spine, and/or total joints (knees and hips)
- BLS certificate
- Registered as a surgical technician in Washington state
- Immediate enrollment in Health Insurance
