Skills Required

The Project Manager will be responsible for representing Argent Fabrication with clients on a range of topics related to securing and completing projects.

• Manage multiple projects at various levels completion.
• Submit bid proposals and requests.
• Consult with clients to determine the project requirements, prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs and construction time.
• Administer construction contracts and conduct periodic onsite observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• Complete and submit paperwork received by, and for, clients including: change orders, contracts, insurance documents and purchase orders.
• Manage the project schedule- corresponding with team members to designate tasks and establish project timeline, organizing site visits, over-seeing the shop schedule.
• Liaise with architects and clients to gather product and structural requirements and designs
• Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials
• Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality
• AutoCad drafting experience beneficial, but not required.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Minimum of five years related experience desired.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There may be a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment and training to our employees.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

The Project Manager will be required to travel occasionally, both locally and nationally, to correspond with clients and visit project sites. Travel time will be dependent on project demands.
