We are a moving and delivery business located in the greater Seattle and Woodinville area and looking to hire a General Manager to join the team in our Seattle location!

This is a Full-Time Regular position. Hours and days to be discussed upon interview.

Summary

As the General Manager (GM) you are responsible for the overall success or failure of your branch. You will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, disciplining and potentially terminating Operations Managers, Dispatch staff, Warehouse staff, Helpers, Leads and Drivers. You are charged with properly maintaining and stocking the trucks at your branch.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for running day to day operations efficiently, safely and profitably
• Understand the importance of the Daily Dispatch Report (DDR) as the central document to Eco Movers day to day operations and how to properly manage it
• Utilize the Branch checklists to make sure every detail of the operation is managed appropriately
• Ensure storage procedures are followed appropriately (if applicable to your branch)
• Ensure the Booking / Rate Calendar is updated consistently as this is the primary way the GM will communicate with the Sales Team
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures
• Look for opportunities to increase revenue and create more business for the company in your geographic region
• Perform audits of all business systems on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as required
• Interview and hire employees following the Eco Movers onboarding process
• Train and promote using the Eco Movers Academy and update all applicable trackers
• Develop and mentor team members to promote strong performers at all levels of the operation
• Monitor and control lunch breaks in the field in accordance with Washington state law
• Responsible for developing and maintaining team morale
• Will lead a weekly all staff meeting before Friday operations and a minimum of 1 Lead meeting per quarter
• Ensure employees are always fully in uniform by keeping an appropriate amount of each clothing article on hand in the branch supply room

Minimum Requirements

• Reliable transportation and able to travel within locations
• Experience in managerial or supervisory role
• Understands business administration and customer relationships
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Fluent communication and understanding of the English language
• Have a solid understanding of our Standard Operating Procedures and abide by them
• Experience with Google Suite platform

*** $25,000 in bonus opportunities paid monthly
