We are looking to expand our team with an experienced Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright. The ideal candidate would be someone who is looking to join a growing team and is willing and able to be flexible, keeping an open mind to change, as well as make value-adding suggestions and contributions to continuously improve business processes.
The Maintenance Mechanic would be responsible for providing preventive and corrective maintenance services at customer locations as a field service technician. This includes but is not limited to, fan repairs, bearing replacements, pump rebuilds, laser shaft alignments, dynamic balancing, and similar.
Job Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.
• Complete work as outlined in job package using CMMS, paper documentation and equipment procedures as required.
• Have in-depth knowledge of millwright fundamentals on preventative and corrective maintenance. (i.e., seals, bearings, alignment, balancing, etc.)
• Be skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to support precision maintenance work.
• Early identification of the need to perform maintenance work through observation, inspections, testing, and monitoring on a routine basis.
• Possess knowledge and understanding to communicate problems discovered to the customer for repairs.
• Conduct job safety reviews with Operations prior to performing maintenance work.
• Maintain housekeeping standards on jobs as well as in the shop.
• Document historical data as required by accurately filling out overhaul and inspection forms per procedure.
• Input historical data into Cornerstone’s CMMS, giving quality feedback on the work executed to include accurate time to complete the job and ensuring task lists have been marked as complete, and the statuses are accurate.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA’s) and investigations. Provide Customers with findings and reports.

Job Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or millwright craft.
• Welding and machining skills highly desired
• Safety oriented
• Willing and able to work in hot/dirty work environments.
• Have dependable transportation.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Be drug and alcohol-free.

What Will Put You Ahead

• NCCER or Union Journeymen license or 5 years of experience in field execution of Industrial Mechanical repairs.
• 5 years of mechanical aptitude skills and adequate industrial mechanical maintenance experience in the repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of related manufacturing facilities, refineries or machine shop equipment including inspection and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, fabricating and diagnostics.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
