Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages. Duties: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos - Take customer orders and process payments using the cash register or POS system - Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring each customer has a positive experience - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods - Assist with stocking inventory and restocking supplies as needed - Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and open communication Experience: - Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred - Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment is a plus - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is an asset - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for growth within our organization.
