Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking an IT Asset Manager to work in the Scott AFB, IL area. A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• The IT Asset Manager is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and documentation, ensuring records are accurate, current, and compliant with organizational policies and industry regulations.
• This role involves developing and implementing strategies for efficient asset management throughout their lifecycle, monitoring performance, and recommending upgrades or replacements.
• Collaborates with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure timely acquisition and adherence to contractual terms, evaluates vendor performance, and negotiates optimal agreements.
• Monitor software license usage, conduct regular compliance audits, and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor asset location, usage, and maintenance history.
• Generates regular reports on asset utilization, performance, and costs, and identifies and mitigates potential risks related to IT assets, such as security vulnerabilities.
• Requires strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in asset management tools and software.
• Other support duties as needed/directed.

Experience/Skills:

• 5 years of relevant experience.

Certifications:

• IAT Level II

Clearance:

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
