Southeast Industrial Equipment Inc is Hiring a Diesel Technician Near Savannah, GA
Southeast Industrial Equipment is looking for a Diesel Technician for our Savannah Branch!
- Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment, performs repairs and scheduled maintenance work based on customer needs and requirements.
- Analyzes and diagnoses customer equipment problems and breakdowns. Recommends the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems.
- Makes necessary repairs to customer and SHIE forklifts and industrial, material handling and people moving equipment.
- Examines safety devices, equipment and systems on equipment making adjustments as needed.
- Provides preventative maintenance, including lubricating moving parts.
- Drives and operates repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications.
- Observes all SIE and customer policies and safety procedures. Assures that hazardous waste is properly disposed.
- Accurately and neatly documents all work. Submits all paperwork in a timely fashion or at completion of each job.
- Efficiently performs scheduled equipment maintenance per customer contract. Performs a thorough examination of the equipment, identifies any necessary problems or repairs.
- Discusses problems or repairs with the customer and clearly document any needed repairs.
- Provides well-maintained personal tools required to perform equipment service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
