SAVANNAH JAZZ JOB DESCRIPTION – MARKETING and EVENTS COORDINATOR
Are you self-starting and marketing savvy, looking for a position that utilizes your multiple talents outside of an office? Do you love jazz, people, and event production? Then this position may be right for you!
The Marketing Coordinator position for Savannah Jazz is a part-time contractor job that does not have regular hours and requires an all-in and can-do attitude. Must love people of all walks of life!
Savannah Jazz is a 501C3 non-profit organization that produces monthly concerts, the free Annual Savannah Jazz Festival, the forthcoming Savannah Jazz History and Hall of Fame Exhibit, Educational Programs, and produces the Savannah Jazz Orchestra.
Long hours on your feet and some lifting required during the Jazz Festival.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media post creation and scheduling.
- Monthly Concert coordinating with the Director including check-in and membership sales.
- Website updates.
- Newsletter layouts.
- Eblast creation and distribution.
- Press Release distributions and coordination of interviews with leaders and artists.
- Assist with ad placements.
- Membership database management.
- Organizing volunteers and vendors.
- Help coordinate all VIP areas of the Annual Savannah Jazz Festival.
- Assist with details for the Savannah Jazz History and Hall of Fame Exhibit.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
