HITS LLC, the leading producer of world-class hunter/jumper horse shows across America, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the seasonal role of Maintenance staff at HITS Hudson Valley in Saugerties, NY.

This person will be part of the team responsible for the maintenance and landscaping of the facility.

Candidates should have a strong work ethic and be willing to address projects quickly and effectively. They will need to be comfortable working with a crew of 4-6 additional workers. The Maintenance staff along with additional workers will be in charge of cleaning, landscaping and maintenance of an equestrian facility.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• Troubleshooting maintenance issues associated with the property: wells, septic, generators, air filters, water heaters, stormwater drains, electric, etc.
• Maintaining a manicured and pristine property including leaf blowing, power washing, sweeping, mowing, limb clean-up, etc.
• Minor repairs of fencing as well as other carpentry projects
• Use of small power tools and farming equipment
• Engagement with contractors as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Own mode of transportation
• Employment references
• Willing to work on a team
• Must be able to lift at least 50 LBs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Weekend availability during Horse Shows
