We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the premises, and enforcing security protocols.
Duties:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises if necessary
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas
- Escort individuals to specified locations or provide personal protection as required
- Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Strong observation skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems
