Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an Assistant Controller for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high-quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller is responsible for the day-to-day management of the general ledger. Coordinates the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Responsible for the supervision of Staff Accountants and Accounting Clerks. Along with the Controller, this position is responsible for making sure that all corporate financial reporting deadlines are met. Assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Controller on special projects as required. Responsible for completing all SOX quarterly and semi-annual audits. Manages the completion of our annual cost report work papers, as well as tax work papers and other audits as required. Assists the CFO and Controller in the completion of the Monthly Operating Review (MOR) package. Responsible for monthly Medicare exhibits.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business field required, focus on Accounting/Finance.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of hospital fiscal services
• 3 years at the supervisory level
