Rogelio Marin is Hiring an Engineering Manager Near Santa Rosa, CA
- Establish project outline and design (mold design through production process)
- New Program design phase through production readiness
- Project updates, complete management of all assigned projects; start to finish
- Quoting creation and development on new projects
- Track quote due dates, percentage of wins and opportunities forecasts
- Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes
- NPD/NPI; early involvement with customers and internal teams during the DFM process.
- Participate in design and process review to ensure correct specifications for each project.
- Develop manufacturing procedures; tooling, fixtures, and process to meet customer expectations.
- New & existing business quoting, development/opportunities and interact with customers.
- Develop tooling standards; interact with off-shore tooling companies for quotes and tooling builds.
- Administer the program management process by providing necessary program status reports to customers.
- Coordinate with tooling, production, purchasing and quality on schedules to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with QE’s for support and early involvement on all related programs.
- Implements new job setup, project outline, contract review process and approvals

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience within manufacturing industry
- 10 years’ experience in Plastics Injection Molding manufacturing environment
- Intimate knowledge of program management; PMP preferred or equivalent experience
- CAD experience/knowledge a plus. Including but not limited to Mold Designs
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels in the organization.
- Strong Customer relationship management skills.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft office suite; MS Project/smartsheet experience preferred.
- Follow engineering department; infrastructure, procedures and policies including the use and utilization of proper company forms.
- Well organized and goal orientated
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Demonstrated experience at implementing continuous improvement, lean or other process improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, and quality systems
- Accomplishes strategic objectives by managing and maintaining multiple project activities
- Understands and supports Wright Engineered Plastics Growth Strategies and goals
- Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities
- Competitive spirit, but plays within the rules.
- Travel /- 10%
- Limited physical effort, able to carry at least 25lbs
- Duties are primarily performed seated. Must be able to sit and type for long periods; bending, reaching, pushing, pulling related to general administrative duties and use of office equipment.
