ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Enter and track orders using company order management software and other internet-based ordering systems.
Assist the sales department with clerical tasks such as generating reports.
Support sales, sales support, and other department personnel.
Collaborate with accounting and customers to resolve deductions, credits, and provide payment status information.
Provide backup support for orders and customer service for sales personnel.
Distribute sales confirmations and documentation.
SKILLS & ABILITIES :
Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales software.
Understanding of bookkeeping concepts (receivables / deductions).
Knowledge of record management and data sorting.
Effective communication with customers, vendors, and others.
Ability to compartmentalize tasks and balance company and customer needs.
Works well within a team environment.
Able to learn and apply knowledge efficiently.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
High School diploma or equivalent / GED required.
At least 1 year of experience in sales support is preferred.
