Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various network systems and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently in the field. Detail oriented, patient problem solver, experience in wireless technologies, and construction skills preferred. Like to work with your hands and enjoy spending time outside.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test network equipment, including routers, switches, and other networking devices.

-Install Access points and customer premise equipment

-Install and maintain microwave radio equipment
- Perform cable installations, terminations, and testing for Ethernet, low voltage, telephone, and fiber optic connections
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform repairs as needed
- Conduct site surveys to assess network requirements and identify potential issues
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support
- Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, repairs, and upgrades
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications preferred
- Proven experience in computer networking or related field
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet, low voltage cabling, telephone systems, and fiber splicing techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools used in network installations and repairs
- Experience working with Cisco routers and switches is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation is desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers
