Evoke Entrada is looking for part time and full time positions as a Transporter/Logistics Operator for its wilderness therapy program located in Santa Clara, UT. Job Description:

Logistics Operators work directly with the Operations Director, Field Directors, and Backup to facilitate logistical support to the field and office. The main duties include intaking new clients into the program. This can look like a visit to our doctor and setting them up with the equipment for the field. Once prepared, the team drops off the new client in the group located in the backcountry. Operators also help with client exits, parent visits, backup support, and medical evacuations. Operators can have opportunity to cross train with some in-field needs and help support field instructors with staff support day visits in groups located in the backcountry. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday with most scheduling happening for each day the evening before. Work hours each day are based around the type of work needed and flight times for new clients. Hours vary from week to week based on logistical needs. Flexibility with when work happens during those days is encouraged. Weekend work is on a voluntary basis. Any work past 40 hours a week is overtime.

Compensation is an hourly wage based on experience ranging from $15-18 per hour starting out with commitment/performance raises and bonuses available. Special consideration will be taken for people who have an appropriate vehicle to transport clients on paved roads (paid per mile on personal vehicles). Additional consideration and compensation for people who have a 4x4 vehicle that can drive out on the dirt roads of our field areas.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in therapeutic programs is helpful, residential treatment, as a field instructor, and/or transport is preferred. CPR and First Aid are required. Experience with adverse off-road driving conditions is helpful. Previous Aegis crisis prevention training is useful, but training in Aegis will be provided.
