POSITION OVERVIEW

Hanwha Qcells is a renewable energy company aiming for a greener tomorrow through entirely clean energy solutions. We take pride in our dedication to excellence and our commitment to the success of our employees. We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position is based in either our Santa Clara, CA or San Francisco, CA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

· Processing payroll accurately and timely for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and tax laws. 

· Administering Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation/LTI plans, including enrollment, contributions, distributions, and compliance. 

· Verifying and reconciling timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness. 

· Managing and resolving payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees. 

· Generating payroll reports and maintaining payroll records. ( Labor cost reports) 

· Assisting with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and reporting. 

· Staying updated on changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements. 

· Collaborating with the finance team to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency. 

· Conducting regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and integrity. 

· Managing and administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. 

· Assisting employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries. 

· Processing benefit-related paperwork and ensuring accuracy and completeness. 

· Managing relationships with benefits vendors and resolving issues as needed. 

· Assisting with the annual benefits renewal process and open enrollment activities. 

· Perform other duties as assigned. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. 

· Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.

· Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and benefits laws. 

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. 

· Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
