Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Coding Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Laboratory medical coding systems and procedures, ensuring accurate coding for services provided.

Duties:

- Assign appropriate medical codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing and reimbursement purposes
- Review patient medical records to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Work closely with medical billing staff to resolve coding issues and discrepancies
- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations to maintain compliance
- Assist in the collection of medical records and information for coding purposes

Skills:

- Proficiency in Medical Coding systems such as LCD. NCD .DRG, ICD-9, ICD-10
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assigning codes
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
