Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, organizing incoming raw materials, and maintaining cleanliness within the pharmacy. This role also involves compounding IV medications for MRIs that contain nuclear reactions. Under the direct supervision of an authorized Nuclear Pharmacist, you will perform laboratory and pharmacy-related duties. This includes working in a clean room environment and may involve occupational exposure to radiation. You will be responsible for the compounding, dispensing, and distribution of FDG and NaF, and will handle data entry tasks related to end-of-day and daily dose management reports. Ensuring compliance with USP, proposed regulations, and state pharmacy requirements will be a significant part of your role. As part of our Quality Management System, you will be required to complete cGMP documents. You will also ensure that aseptic operations comply with internal procedures, customer requirements, and FDA regulations. A priority will be to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sanford, Florida.

Work Environment

The work schedule includes Monday to Friday, with day, mid, and overnight shifts. You may also be required to work on rotating Saturdays. The full-time rotating overnight schedule includes Sunday to Thursday, with 8-10 hour shifts. Shifts will rotate every 2 weeks: the opening shift starts at 11pm, mid-shift starts between 2am-4am, and the closing shift starts between 6am-8am.
