Job Location: On-site in Sandy, UT
Job Salary: $55k - $75k
Requirements: 1 years of experience in insurance underwriting including experience with P&C, specialty liability, and/or professional liability coverage. Bachelor's degree.
We are an E&S lines insurance organization, specializing in providing solutions for various risks. We specialize in P&C, specialty liability, and/or professional liability underwriting. Founded over 30 years ago, we are quickly growing and looking for multiple underwriters to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Evaluate insurance applications, loan requests, or other financial transactions to determine the level of risk involved
- Analyze financial and personal information, credit reports, and other relevant documents to make informed decisions
- Ensure that all underwriting decisions adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks by either approving, denying, or modifying insurance policies or loan terms
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience as an underwriter in the insurance, lending, or financial industry
- Knowledge of P&C, specialty liability, and/or professional liability underwriting
- $55k - $75k
- Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
- 401k matching
