Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility in Sandy, UT, and other facilities across the Salt Lake Valley. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities and property of our affiliated companies. The ideal candidate will be able to perform routine maintenance and repairs on all building systems, equipment, and supplies. The ideal candidate will also be able to perform some major projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work 40 hours a week
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to employment
• Experience with HVAC, Electrical, Building Management Systems, and other related equipment or systems preferred
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions throughout the year (outdoor days)
• Ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision and meet basic standards such as safety and attention to detail
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on all building systems including HVAC, fire alarm systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, exterior, exterior lighting and exterior painting.
• Perform routine maintenance on all building supplies including paint, paper products, flooring materials, etc.
• Perform major projects as assigned.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
