Sandusky Dental Care is Hiring a Business Administrator Near Sandusky, MI

We are a local dental office that has been taking care of patients in Sandusky for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on being friendly, caring, and efficient. Looking for a long term, smiling, outgoing, dedicated team player to join our fast paced group!

Duties are as follows but not limited to:

  • Greeting patients and processing patient details and obtaining applicable information for expediting treatment and/or billing.
  • Receiving visitors, in person and via phone, assessing and addressing their needs based upon established guidelines.
  • Scheduling patients for dentists and hygienists including follow-up visits, canceling/rescheduling patients, and filling in the schedule as needed.
  • Coordinating and posting daily schedule for dentist and hygienists.
  • Administering the patient reminder system, processing and sending post cards, and making phone calls.
  • Processing claims to insurance companies and other payers.
  • Collecting and posting charges and payments into the computer accurately and efficiently.
  • Preparing and sending statements to patients.
  • Collecting outstanding receivables.
  • Working respectfully and cooperatively with doctors, management, co-workers, and patients.
  • Maintaining electronic patient files.
  • Maintain a full schedule of patients for dentists and hygienists daily.
  • Represent the practice in a professional, friendly, and caring manner.
  • Cleaning and household duties throughout the office to keep clean and clutter free.
  • Handling all other duties as requested to assure the smooth operation of the practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
