- Perform user research and persona development.
- Create scenario maps.
- Explore solutions and create wireframes.
- Validate design prototypes with users.
- Compose screen layouts.
- Design high fidelity UI components in line with product and engineering requirements.
- Coordinate with the product and engineering team on implementation planning.
- Conduct user testing and UX audits.
- Implement and manage the Design System, which includes components, typography, color palette, iconography, spacing and layout.
- 2 years of professional UI/UX design experience with web apps.
- Expert knowledge of Figma design software.
- In-depth understanding of user-centered design processes and methodology.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business, functional, and end-user requirements.
- Experience in UI prototyping and usability analysis and testing.
- Experience developing high fidelity designs with consideration for engineering specifications and requirements.
- Experience building and/or maintaining a Design System.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors in Information Design, Human Centered Design, Industrial Design, or Psychology.
- Prior experience in technology products for industries such as construction, automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing.
- Experience with fast-paced product and design environments or as the sole designer on a team.
- Experience working with a geographically distributed team.
- Knowledge of design libraries for React web applications.
- Experience with design and management tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Jira, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, and Android.
