Acclaimed Senior Living is a New 16 bed Memory Care Community located in San Marcos, TX! We are hosting our Grand Opening on May 23rd, 2024 @ 10:00am at 1001 Crepe Myrtle St. San Marcos, TX 78666. We will conduct on-site interviews immediately after the grand opening. Acclaimed Senior Living /Acclaimed Senior Care is nonprofit 501 c 3 personal senior care organization dedicated to providing quality care services for seniors and disabled individuals in multiple areas in Texas (Georgetown, Round Rock, San Marcos, Austin, Pflugerville. We are agile, professional, resident focused and a very supportive organization for our amazing care givers and residents. ****This is an on-site care giver position with one weekend each week required. You will be responsible for taking care of elderly seniors in a beautiful spacious 10 bed home in a very clean/quiet neighborhood in San Marcos. Must have clean background and be drug free. Must be patient, positive and professional to work with seniors.
Pay range is $13.00-$14.00 per hour DOE. Position is tax exempt since we are a non profit. Our employees are issued a 1099 for tax purpose. Only serious and available individuals will be considered.
We are seeking caring, responsible and compassionate individuals to join our team of Resident Care Assistants /Care Givers for seniors. The Care Assistant is primarily responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities of our residents, such as bathing, grooming and meal preparation.
We value our amazing care givers and provide ongoing training/support for you to be successful. Our mission is to provide seniors with amazing, personalized care in home environments or an assisted living community. We are seeking to immediately hire dedicated, trust worthy and caring people to join us. New Hire orientation starts each week on Thursday and training is provided.

Job Summary:
Provides care and support to assigned residents no more than 8. You will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in a home environment, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Provide on-site direct care and support to residents in the homes
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behavior
- Follow all resident rights policies and procedures
- Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Assist residents who are incontinent with toileting, and changing briefs to avoid skin integrity issues
Experience:
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with home care systems and procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of senior care principles and practices is beneficial
- First aid certification is desirable
