Job Position – Junior Fire Sprinkler Designer
Location- San Leandro, CA
Client- Battalion One Fire Protection
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you have the opportunity to test, tune and do basic troubleshooting of complex, multi-function, RF/microwave microelectronic assemblies.
You are responsible for:
1- Runner - Helping where needed, including delivering or picking up plans to/from job sites, etc.
2- Permit processor – would be responsible for submitting and tracking permit applications to various jurisdictions, including over the counter applications once they are knowledgeable enough to handle them
3- Assist PM with assembling job information, tracking field notes and preparing documentation for as-built drawings and change orders 4. Helping wherever else needed.
4- Preparing background drawings from CAD files and PDFs provided to us.
5- Site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems.
6- Fire sprinkler system design (mostly tenant improvements and small projects).
Design work will be almost solely on fire sprinkler related systems, but the other responsibilities may cross over to our fire alarm department (runner tasks, permit tasks, etc.)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $29.32 - $35.31 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
