Vantage Robotics is Hiring an Assembly technician Near San Leandro, CA

Vantage Robotics Is looking for motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic mechanical / electrical technicians to assist with manufacturing, assembling and testing drones & ground controller units.

Assembly technicians and R&D engineering team are tight knit and we regularly accomplish feats that were previously thought impossible or improbable.

Ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate exceptional personal initiative to achieve the goal. We need people who are not afraid to use their technical ability to not only identify issues but propose solutions and implement improvements.

You must be able to produce high-quality work in a timely manner while continually looking forward to driving process improvements that streamline work and save costs.

You will be responsible for working with our manufacturing partners and local team to bring these products to life. This is a full time hourly position in a high growth environment with enormous potential for career growth.

Requirements

  • Assemble and integrate mechanical and electrical components of our drone products
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications
  • Follow assembly instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Solder and de solder through-hole and SMT components
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Document assembly processes and provide feedback for improvement
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and practices

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of professional experience working hands-on as a technician in the consumer electronics manufacturing, aerospace, aviation or automotive industry
  • Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Experience in drone assembly or electronics assembly is a plus
  • Basic proficiency with computers
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus
