**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team. The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of goods and services essential for our organization's operations.
**Duties:**
- Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and place purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Monitor and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Assist in evaluating suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
- Coordinate with various departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
- Utilize inventory control systems to manage stock levels effectively.
- Support contract management activities and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends.
**Skills:**
- Strong sourcing abilities to identify reliable suppliers.
- Ability to negotiate favorable terms and prices with vendors.
- Experience in inventory control practices to optimize stock levels.
