Your Role and Responsibilities
Initiate a discovery process working with designers, researchers, product managers, and development (nationally and internationally) to understand user's needs, pain-points and behaviors.
Coordinate Enterprise Design Thinking activities and stakeholder workshops to establish problem statements, and foundational concepts.
Map concepts to pre-defined business goals and key results.
Participate in an Agile environment such as user research and design workshops.
Analyze & synthesize research findings; distilling complexity and identify the right problems to solve.
Translate findings into usable, useful, effective user experiences.
Defines sprint cadence and work distribution across design team.
Manage check-in meetings for alignment, scope of work, phasing, and intermittent signoffs on project phases.
Design, deliver, review and critique the UX designs from a multi-skilled design team to ensure effective and rich designs.
Communicate with cross-functional teams for alignment and/or adoption.
Provide information verbally and visually through low and mid-fidelity renderings and prototypes.
Test and validate with users through testing of wireframes, prototypes and published product, and participate in design critique.
Work with visual designers and developers to create to high-fidelity deliverables.
Provide detailed annotations to guide development through implementation.
Conduct regular check-ins and playbacks of implementation process.
Conduct quality assurance reviews to address and document any issues.
Participate in overall functional program planning working with product management and development teams to define and plan future product roadmaps.
Report project progress and alignment to business goals, and customer satisfaction to leadership channels.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in user experience design role and performing the design activities to deliver successful outcomes for software, web, or mobile delivery.
- Strong portfolio of work demonstrating DesignThinking, design process, and solutions for web and mobile applications.
- Ability to take rough technical information and make it understandable and well presented.
- Ability to clearly communicate a design through storytelling that helps the audience develop empathy for the user, and clarity on what the user experience of the software will be.
- Ability to create designs at a variety of fidelity levels and understanding of the most appropriate techniques to gather the most useful feedback at different stages in the process.
- Experience designing and delivering for accessibility
- Experience with software tools for design, production, and implementation, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Experience with Enterprise data software
- Experience with Enterprise DesignThinking methodologies
