Overview

The Premium Clubs & Bars Supervisor is responsible for the effective management and running of Clubs & Bar operations. The Premium Clubs & Bars Supervisor must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency and operational / personnel support to ensure the smooth running of any assigned event.

The Premium Clubs & Bars Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in all Club & Bar areas of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and food (as applicable).

The Premium Clubs Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The Premium Clubs & Bar Supervisor will assist the Premium Clubs & Bar Manager with projects, training, inventory, and special events.

The Premium Clubs & Bar Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $21.50 to $23.50.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all OVG and venue policies, procedures and practices are adhered to, including compliance with alcohol service and food handling / sanitation guidelines, general safety policies and procedures.
• Assist management with monitoring department by maintaining policies and procedures, upholding safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guests
• Assists Management team with projects including training, inventory and special events.
• Responsible for overseeing the setup of food & beverage service areas
• Ensures all Clubs & Bars are set prior to events.
• Responsible for ensuring quality and hospitality throughout all Premium Club areas
• Responsible for communication between counter parts of the department
• Responsible for organization and preparation of events
• Responsible for supervising team members on non-event and event days
• Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures
• Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition
• Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
• Responsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages. Must check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests
• Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
• Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
• Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' previous hospitality and high-volume dining experience required
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage (alcoholic & non-alcoholic)
• Basic knowledge of cost control measures and P&L's
• Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Standing and walking for entire length of shift
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit required by state or federal regulations.
