Position: Assessment Psychologist
Position OverviewWe are seeking full-time assessment psychologists or neuropsychologists to join our growing assessment team at our outpatient treatment center in the Bay Area. Ideal candidates will have experience in diagnosing and assessing autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). However, we also offer training for candidates with relevant competencies in psychology who may lack direct assessment experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments, document outcomes, create reports with recommendations, and communicate results to patients, their families, and treatment teams.
  • Perform clinical interviews, testing sessions, scoring/interpretation of tests, report writing, and feedback sessions with clients.
  • Develop personalized testing batteries using a flex-assessment model, with access to an extensive library of assessments.
  • Work with patients ranging in age from 2 to 65 , including those with psychiatric and/or medically complicated conditions and various cognitive complaints.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D./Psy.D. in psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program, specializing in clinical psychology or neuropsychology.
  • Current valid California License (California Board of Psychology).
  • Knowledge of a wide range of psychiatric, neurodevelopmental, personality, and neurocognitive disorders.
  • Experience with medical and psychiatric co-morbidities and understanding the complexities of diagnosing ADHD in adulthood.
  • Proficiency in conducting various testing batteries, providing feedback and recommendations, and integrating medical considerations into overall assessments.
  • Ability to use electronic health records in a timely and compliant manner.
