Patent Prosecution Associate - Life Sciences
Location: Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, New York, or Washington D.C.
Salary: $235,000 - $390,000
Our client seeks a patent associate with at least one year of legal experience (ideally at a law firm) to join their life sciences practice in one of their offices: Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, New York, or Washington D.C.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Admission to the relevant state bar (California, Washington State, New York, or Washington D.C.)
- Patent Bar membership (or eligibility)
- Ph.D. (or M.D. with research experience) in a relevant scientific field: organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, microbiology, oncology, gene editing, gene therapy or a related field.
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
