Job Title: Pharmacy Tech Inpatient
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Pay Rate: $30-38/hr.
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) Mid 5x8-Hour (14:30 - 22:30
Required Skills:
- Performs pharmaceutical procedures for medication preparation and distribution that ensures safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy.
- Prepares, compounds, packages, labels, and dispenses medication, nutritional products, and IV admixture and solutions (e.g., chemotherapy, biotherapy, etc.).
- Adheres to all standards, procedures, cleaning protocols, and infection control polices to maintain a safe and sterile medication area, clean rooms, and laminar flow hoods.
- Assists with medicine and supplies inventory management and control, including maintaining adequate stock levels, checking accuracy of pricing, and completing required regulatory documentation.

- Exercises sound judgment and developed clinical skills to provide pharmaceutical support to the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner.
- Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety.
- May also be responsible for performing specific tasks and/or orient other staff to the department.
- Requirements: -Registered Pharmacy Technician (PHRMTECHR), Certified Pharmacy Technician (OR PHARMC), Pharmacy Technician (OR PHARMT) accepted
- 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
