Retail Store Assistant Manager – Part Time
Sand Cloud is a beach lifestyle brand that specializes in beach towels and accessories. Founded on the beaches of San Diego in 2014, Sand Cloud encompasses the beach vibes of Southern California, and aims to serve customers with unique and useful products for everyday use. Our mission has always been to create sustainable products, and also donate a portion of our profits to non-profit organizations that are dedicated to sustainability and marine life preservation.
As we gear to launch a new store in San Diego, we are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable part time retail assistant store manager to join our team.
This is a part-time position located in our Pacific Beach Store. Hours will be approximately 20 to 29 hours a week. You will be reporting directly to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
-Greet and assist customers with a friendly positive attitude
-Answer questions and provide product information
-Assist customers with finding products and suggestions
-Process transactions at the register
-Keep the store organized, clean and well-stocked
-Overseeing day to day operations
-Managing associates
-Implementing sales strategies
-Inventory control
-Keeping the store updated and merchandised
Qualifications & Skills:
-Previous experience with management in retail sales and customer service is required
-Strong verbal and written skills
-Reliable and punctual
-Experience with product demonstrations and upselling techniques is a plus
-Willingness to work various shifts including weekends, and holidays as needed
Compensation and Perks:
● Salary: $22/hr - 24/hr DOE
