Duties

• You will perform a variety of maintenance, repair, minor construction or alteration work utilizing Intermediate (Worker) level skill and knowledge in the performance of on-the-spot repairs required during written work order requests.
• You will inspect, maintain, repair and install facility heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigerating, food service equipment, motor vehicles, production support equipment and other mechanical components.
• You will be work with motors, pumps. compressors. gasoline/diesel engines, transmissions. differentials. reduction gear units, generators, alternators, carburetor/fuel injection systems, heating elements, motor controls, conveyor belt systems, etc.
• You will perform a variety of electrical and electro-mechanical duties.
• You will be inspecting, maintaining , repairing or installing electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration and fire protection systems including trouble shooting and repair of electronic components and circuit boards commonly found in these systems.
• You will perform other trade duties consisting or repairing, replacing, or installing miscellaneous mechanical or structural items subsequent to performing other duties.

• You must possess a current Forklift certification; or, you must be willing and able to attain a Forklift certification within one year of selection.
