Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Professional Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team! This role requires an individual who is not only technically proficient but also possesses a robust understanding of the complexities associated with land surveying.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a wide range of surveying tasks, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects and to contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to fast track to become a Principal with our firm!

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive land surveys, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
  • Utilize advanced surveying technology to produce accurate and detailed site plans.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that all surveying activities align with project objectives.
  • Establish and maintain control lines for construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on surveying activities, providing insights and recommendations to inform decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of land surveying, adopting new techniques and technologies as appropriate to enhance work efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in land surveying, with 3-5 years at the supervisory or leadership level.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex surveying tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage crews of 2-10 Surveyors.
  • A high level of self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
