Mission Fed is Hiring a Loan processor Near San Diego, CA

  • Adheres to Mission Fed telephone service and relationship-building standards to include identifying member needs, appropriately cross-selling products and services by presenting features and benefits and asking for the business.
  • Using professional phone etiquette answers incoming telephone calls and assists members in the loan application queue and branch loan support queue.

Proactively utilizes account retention techniques to maintain member relationships.

Effectively interviews members, reviews credit reports, and accurately processes loan applications online in a timely manner while consistently seeking cross-sale and aftermarket product opportunities to achieve annual sales and loan production goals.

Furnishes approval information to members as provided by online scorecard.

  • Reviews and refers loans for underwriting as appropriate, understanding, and adhering to the required criteria necessary to properly decision and fund consumer loan products to include the following :
  • Income verification
  • Proper loan file funding documentation to satisfy loan conditions.
  • Complete and send loan packet to Quality Assurance / DMV
  • Proper use of DocuSign to fund and send secured documents for signature to complete funding.

Here is what we are looking for :

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required.
  • Consumer Loan Processor I : A minimum of 6 months customer service with sales experience. Six months call center, loan processing, and financial institution experience is preferred. Grade 6N
  • Consumer Loan Processor II : A minimum of 2 years customer service with sales experience and 6 months loan processing experience.

Six months call center and / or financial institution experience preferred. Grade 7N

Consumer Loan Processor III : A minimum of 3 years of financial institution experience to include a minimum of two years consumer loan processing experience and one year of customer service experience is required.

Call center experience is preferred. Grade 8N

    Base Pay / Salary : $21.00 - $26.50 an hour

    The hourly rate range that we expect to pay for this position is $21.00 - $26.50. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
