Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the warehouse personal, documentation process, to include receipt, and distribution of goods, to oversee the correct tagging of stock numbers and validating each item received prior to placing in stock but not limited to entering the all data to a software. Supervise the day to day operations of the yard & warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management practices. A positive can do attitude and a lead by example team supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse personnel and ensure the safe, clean, efficient operation 
• Will train, perform annual evaluations and discipline warehouse personnel to meet organizational goals.
• Prepare and maintain various reports necessary to monitor operational efficiency and flow of inventory in/out of the warehouse.
• Develop space utilization plans as necessary and ensure that the objectives of warehouse organization and operations are met.
• Maintain good communication with all customers, and production personnel regrading the shipment and/or receipt of product/materials.
• Assist all our customers in the timely manner 
• Coordinate shipments of products to customers from distribution centers and warehouses, print bills of landing and match up labels, and organize for order fulfillment.
• Constant communication of all shipping dates anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the teams.
• Report any and all inventory shortfall or overstocked to the warehouse manager of products that have availability issues that affect the service level of an order for all our jobs.

Qualifications:

• Some related college is preferred, or equal working years of on the job warehouse supervisor experience 
• Experience in preparing and handling of shipping/receiving documentation.
• Functional experience using a computer, and a quick learner with other computer software.
• Forklift experience 7 years of operating a forklift
• Pole grappler 7 years of operating a pole grappler is preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of practical shipping and receiving experience including some formal responsibility in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
• CDL drivers license is a plus
• Any certifications or related completed courses are a plus
