Texas Liver Consultants (TLC) is a thriving specialty medical practice with offices throughout South Texas. We have an opening for a New Patient Scheduling Coordinator who will work collaboratively with our team to manage patient flow activities to ensure patient satisfaction.

We are interested in employing a candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills who can communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and our staff. The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks in a stressful environment. Attention to detail is required, along with excellent organizational skills.

Schedule is full-time weekdays. Candidate must be able to reliably commute to our Shavano Park office.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage and maintain the scheduling and rescheduling of all appointments for new patients.
• Coordinate with various locations to ensure timely and efficient scheduling
• Respond to online inquiries related to new patient scheduling
• Verify patient information to ensure all registration information is correct.
• Answer incoming and internal calls in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
• Assist with incoming fax referrals (electronic fax, online referrals and electronic referral programs).
• Provide outstanding patient experience during phone conversations.
• Operate multi-line phone system in addition to standard office equipment (fax, copy, scan, email, etc)

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) (preferred)
• Computer literate (required)
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a medical office, call center or hospital (required)

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
