Under the direct supervision of the Director of Communications, responsibilities include creating video productions and social media to highlight programs and events. Will work with working Marketing, Donor Relations, and other departments to assist with promoting clinical services, programs, and events. This position will work closely with other departments to formulate social media productions to showcase our services and recruit/retain support for the Center. This individual keeps abreast of trends to implement compelling digital communication initiatives and will coordinate with all department directors to ensure material reflects all services we offer.
• Coordinates content for social media while developing relationships with clinical staff to ensure we are capturing and posting the best content to grow following on social media while promoting our services/programs.
• Reviewing and Editing video
• Designs, builds, schedules, and maintains our social media presence.
• Identifies trends and insights and optimizes speed and performance based on the insights.
• Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and social media platforms.
• Assists multiple departments with content development.
• Identifies news features/stories on treatment programs and human interest.
• Promotes WTRC inside the facility on way finders.
• Responsible for photography/videography as needed for marketing and event purposes.
• Responsible for graphic design, specifically used for social media and digital advertising
• Works with clinical departments early on to enable WTRC to tell an impactful patient story.
• Analyzes social media trends and identifies opportunities to increase attendance at event and grow patient volume.
• Coordinates social media meetings between departments and manages implementation.
• Maintain camera and video equipment to ensure availability when needed and in proper working order.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hours and the ability to perform essential functions without posing a "direct threat" in the work place. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
