Legacy Home Care is Hiring an Office Manager Near Salida, CA

Legacy Home Care Services is looking for a dynamic Office Manager. Our ideal candidate has experience in home care and a proven ability to build and lead successful teams. We need a serious go-getter who understands our services and how we can actively impact the lives of the senior community through our superior service and unparalleled care model. The Office Manager is accountable and responsible for collaboratively leading, coordinating and supporting the business and team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years in a leadership position
  • Experience in home care, assisted living facilities, or home health care preferred
  • Competence in PC skills required to perform job functions (Word / Excel / Outlook)
  • Ability to develop and implement programs focused on delivering coordinated patient care.
  • Knowledge of ClearCare is a plus
  • Demonstrates record of strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully taking on more responsibility with positive results and ambition to grow past current position.
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
  • California Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and TB
  • Flexible availability

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the Care Managers and Caregivers to ensure Legacy is operating efficiently and providing the best possible care for our clients
  • Gather information from client, family and other members of the care team to create and maintain Service Plans in accordance with Agency policies.
  • Effectively communicate with Business Development to ensure client concerns are being addressed and caregiver availability for new clients is being communicated
  • Ensure Care Managers and Caregivers are completing accurate and timely documentation in ClearCare for each client
  • Accurately and timely gathering of data to bill clients for services provided
  • Ensure documentation of all interactions in Clear Care according to office procedures.
  • Continually evaluate the new hire orientation to ensure caregivers are being fully trained prior to providing direct client care
  • Provide feedback to employees including recognition, counseling and termination of employment.
  • Provide quality support for clients and their families in the variety of issues that come up through phone calls and emails or in review meetings. Demonstrate Legacy’s commitment to excellence in these interactions.
  • Help maintain an environment of open communication, accountability and respect for each other while delivering excellent care to the families we serve
  • Lead office and company meetings and participate in events and functions.
  • Serving as the primary inbound and outbound source of communication to other members of the care team including home health, hospice, doctors and hospitals
  • Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor
