Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various painting techniques and be proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting such as sanding, scraping, and patching
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and cabinets
- Mix and match colors for touch-ups and complete projects
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for painting tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine painting requirements
- Perform tasks related to renovating, remodeling, maintaining, and finishing surfaces
- Work with materials like stucco, drywall, and concrete for painting projects
- Carpentry experience is a plus
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for painting tasks
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Experience with concrete finishing, stucco application, drywall repair, and remodeling projects
