Your Role With Us:
Located in the heart of Oregon's spectacular Willamette Valley, the midwives of Salem Health Medical Group (SHMG) at Salem Health provide full scope midwifery care, including: prenatal, delivery, postpartum and well woman care. This seven (7) member team is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join in a full-time (1.0 FTE) capacity. The practice environment is highly collaborative and deeply connected to our community.
A full-time midwife covers (165) 12-hour shifts annually, approximately 13.5 shifts per month. The team aims for an even split between call and clinic shifts. Call shifts are 12-24 hours, depending on need and provider preference. Ideal candidates are those with 2 years of experience and are comfortable working in a moderate to high acuity practice.
