SUMMARY

The Incoming Quality Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of materials and components received from suppliers meets the Customer and Jabil standards.

This position involves inspecting, testing, and documenting the quality of incoming materials, as well as collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to address any quality issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform Incoming Quality Inspection on incoming materials to be used on the manufacturing line.

Oversee logistics for Incoming materials.

Verify material conformance to specifications.

Interprets company and industrial specifications.

Review material specifications and drawings and identify Critical to Quality parameters that will need to be verified (inspection or PPAP process with suppliers) on incoming material.

Create incoming inspection checklists on appropriate parts.

Create AQL based sampling for incoming parts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in electronics, particularly experience with incoming material inspection and testing procedures.

Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers and hardness testers.
