Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year annual bonus

We are seeking an intelligent, motivated individual to fill a position on the network’s fixed income trading desk as a retail bond trader. The Fixed Income Trader will be executing bonds of all classes across a network of three Broker Dealers that use two different clearing platforms and assist advisors with all Fixed Income needs including but not limited to providing best execution of all fixed income products, assisting with building portfolios and helping to obtain bids and liquidate positions when necessary. This position will also handle all FI products including, treasuries, Municipal Bonds, Corporate Bonds, Agencies, CD’s, UIT’s and Mortgage-Backed Securities.

Responsibilities:

• Trade fixed income securities including municipal bonds, corporate bonds, treasuries, agencies, and certificates of deposit.

• Develop and market trade ideas to the representatives.

• Analyze and interpret market conditions and economic data.

• Create and evaluate portfolios.

• Manage bid lists.

• Research and resolve all trade problems.

• Work closely with 2 clearing firms (Pershing & National Financial).

• Trade unit investment trusts

• Responsible for executing fixed income traders within the guidelines of the broker dealer and for reviewing and approving all Fixed Income orders that are executed through the electronic platforms we use.

• Additionally, the trader will assist with all Fixed Income corrections along with guidance on how to use the electronic systems available.

• All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree. A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Basic Requirements:

• Must have Fixed Income Experience.

• Series 7 and 63 are required.

• Bond Trading Experience is also required.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and provide great service to our Advisors.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with NFS and Pershing

• Experience with Netx360 and Wealthscape

• Series 24
