Procurement Specialist | Up to $81,557/annually

This position has the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent may be expected to work in the office on occasion.
Our Procurement Specialist position exists to administer statewide procurement programs and projects for the Public Transit Participation Program under Minnesota Statutes, section 174.24, Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding programs and other active transportation programs or contracts administered by the Office of Transit and Active Transportation (OTAT). The responsibilities for this position include:
· Provide guidance and technical assistance to transit and active transportation stakeholders on federal and state program procurement requirements
· Tasked with developing and providing procurement training
· Draft procurement procedures in the matter of program compliance for both internal and external parties.
· Occasional in-state travel, less than 10%, is required for vehicle/bus inspections.
