AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN), ACUTE CARE UNIT, you’ll make health care personal on our combination Med/Surg/Peds/IMCU floor, as we care for our friends, family, and neighbors. It is the mission of every employee to make Penn Highlands Elk the region’s premier provider of health care services. You’ll provide total nursing care for patients with a variety of medical and/or surgical problems as well as those seeking critical care. We proudly offer what no-one else in the region does: spacious, private rooms for our patients. Every room in our Acute Care Unit includes a private bathroom and plenty of space for family and visitors. We offer patients the warm, peaceful serenity that is so important to the healing process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have a current PA RN License or Temporary Practice Permit
• Have CPR or BLS Certification
• Have ability to pass PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• Have ability to pass Criminal Background Check
