Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement of Bachelor degree with a major/minor in Music Education
• Possess or be eligible for a valid Michigan teaching certificate with JX endorsement
• Meet highly qualified requirements
• Ability to assess and document student progress
• Professional in personal conduct and actions
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective behavior management skills

Duties:

• Plan and teach lessons in Music
• Create a positive classroom environment for all learners
• Assess student progress
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents and community
Respect and maintain confidentiality of student information
