KVC Health Systems is Hiring a Contract specialist Near Saint James, MO

The Intensive In-Home (IIS) Specialist empowers families to navigate crises by evaluating their strengths and needs, and delivering services to ensure the safety and well-being of children within the family home.

Working closely with families, you will establish goals aimed at fostering success and facilitating positive enhancements in family dynamics.

The IIS Specialist travels to and from homes and family appointments, providing transportation to necessary resources, and offering parenting information, skills, strategy, and educational material in areas of need.

The IIS Specialist works with families identified as at risk by the Children’s Division and / or Contracted Foster Care Case Managers.

Bachelor's Degree

Schedule :

Hybrid-Remote Flexibility : The majority of your tasks will occur remotely or in the field, with 1-3 days designated for in-office responsibilities.

Compensation :

$37,000 annually

Requirements :

  • Must be 21 years old to apply
  • Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Ability to problem solve difficult situations.
  • Have compassion and empathy for others.
  • Be able to understand different cultures and ideas.

Preferred Experience / Skills :

  • Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment.
