Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our team. As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency and quality. Your role will involve troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting tests and inspections, and making adjustments as needed. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Completes start up of molding process and provides first article to quality for approval.
- Programs robots and performs calibration of color loaders.
- Responsible for completing lock out tag out requirements for all equipment related to the molding process.
- Responsible for set up and processing of hydraulic and electric molding machines, troubleshooting of molding problems, programming or robots, set up of end of arm tooling, chutes and conveyor systems and authorized to make changes.
- Maintains quality throughout the molding process to meet all standards.
- Utilizes IQMS (ERP system) for entire production process.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Attend training to stay current with industry as required.
- Perform other related duties or special project
Experience:
- 3 years Required; Plastics injection molding
